daisy-player software package provides player for DAISY Digital Talking Books, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install daisy-player
daisy-player is installed in your system.
Make ensure the daisy-player package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep daisy-player *
You will get with daisy-player package name, version, architecture and description in a table
